About this cause
We're a group who wants to make our area a better place by providing a fabulous historic green space for everyone to enjoy and preserve for future generations. We look after the fabric of the space and raise funds to improve it. As a community project, people's involvement is exceptionally important to us as it creates pride in having something so special that is down to true people power.

How this cause brings people in the community together
Warley Woods is run by volunteers and with volunteers involved in every aspect of the management of the site. Much of the work volunteers do is mundane tidy up and repair, but this would give them a special area to work on and create a space where they have particular investment in its improvement. This is currently an area people just walk by, but it could be used for picnics and games.
